Established in 1983 COGITA has been on auto pilot since 2006. Auto pilot is an entrepreneurial leadership system created by COGITA's founding shareholders to ensure that COGITA will continue its services, to clients, in future generations.
As a generational company COGITA has carefully extended its internal operating leadership supply chain. This means that COGITA operates under the day to day leadership (auto pilot) of two highly qualified & experienced leaders (pilots) who were hand picked, in a transformational process, by COGITA's founding shareholders. Working under individual charters since 2006 with complementary accountabilities & responsibilities for operating COGITA, so as to satisfy COGITA clients and win new ones, the pilots are an extension of COGITA 's leadership supply chain. This means that COGITA and its services continue, from generation to generation, independently of the founding shareholders.
As the COGITA Group's operating leadership team, the pilots meet with one of the founding shareholders on the second Wednesday of every month to review and, if necessary, re-orient, the COGITA Group's operations after considering monthly operating reports and statements. The operating leadership team reports monthly to the COGITA Board of Governance.
