Starting 2007 COGITA has entered into a six year sponsorship of the Westpac Manukau Business Excellence awards in New Zealand. COGITA stepped into this role when Enterprising Manukau sought a new sponsor to fill a major vacancy. COGITA now sponsors the Excellence in Innovation & Strategy Category in the annual Westpac Manukau Business Excellence Awards.

Established in 1983 and located in the Manukau City CBD since 1989 COGITA and its Directors are delighted to be partners with Enterprising Manukau in supporting these highly regarded, annual, business excellence awards.

An annual event, the Westpac Manukau Business Excellence Awards recognise the Counties Manukau region's top business achievers - companies and individuals. Covering a wide spectrum of categories, any company, no matter how large or small, can enter, and winners are guaranteed of prestige, higher profiles and recognition.

These awards are not cameos. Each competitor participates in a rigorous Baldwin system scrutiny. Survivors are usually much improved.

COGITA now sponsors the Excellence in Innovation and Strategy Category Award. This award is for the implementation of creative, new and innovative practices and strategies which have made a significant contribution an organisation's success.

Winners will be revealed at the black tie Gala Dinner on Friday, 24 August 2007, at  the TelstraClear Pacific Events Centre in Manukau City.
